Kid Station is fully licensed by the State of Tennessee as a drop-in child care provider.
Licensing requirements limit each child's visit to 7 consecutive hours. Services are available for up to 14 hours per week, with an additional 6 hours available if services are used in the evenings (after 6pm) or on the weekend.
Snow days are considered exceptional and are therefore not counted in this calculation.
All staff members are trained in child CPR/first aid, have met all Department of Justice safety standards, and receive ongoing education in child care and related fields. They love what they do, and it shows!
Safety is our first priority. Allergies and other special needs are closely monitored. A system of passcode-identification is followed at check-out. All points of entry are always locked. Using a controlled lock release system, Kid Station staff regulates who enters the facility at all times.
Complimentary allergy-sensitive snacks are served throughout the day.
We will gladly serve your children any meal that you provide. We have refrigeration and microwave capabilities.
Cribs and cots are available for children to nap…at their request or yours.
We hold to strict caregiver to child ratios, and maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded. Therefore reservations are not required, but are encouraged to ensure availability.
