Building a love for learning

Everything a young child touches, smells, sees, or hears is an education! Children have a built-in inclination to learn about their surroundings, abilities and individuality. The FUNdamentals program is a curriculum based on the theory that a child learns through play.

FUNdamentals will:

• Incorporate creative and engaging activities based on unique monthly themes
• Make concepts come to life through books, art, imaginative play...even snacks!
• Encourage your child to express his or her individual interests, leading to increased self-awareness and respect

What makes FUNdamentals unique? At Kid Station, we focus on the benefits of healthy play, and so does the FUNdamentals program. Each child has his or her own individual interests, personalities and ways of learning. Our goal is to create an environment for young minds to safely discover, explore and enjoy the world around them. FUN is the key!

FUNdamentals will be offered weekdays during the school year from approximately 9-11am. And, just like our traditional drop-in care service, there is no commitment to make on your part! Your child is free to attend the program when it is convenient for you. FUNdamentals is designed to make every child feel comfortable and included, whether it is for one visit per week or one visit per month. There is no additional charge for this program.
